She graduated in Foreign Languages with honors from the University of Macerata, then specialized in teaching Italian L2 in Rome and Siena.
After teaching for years at the Dante Alighieri Society, she worked for five years in United States as a professor of Italian language and culture at the University of Michigan, where she received important awards and scholarships for her research on the study of Italian phonetics.
She was the author of several publications for ELI Edizioni and currently collaborates with Alma Edizioni, with whom she recently published as coauthor "Nuovo Espresso 5".
She has worked as a contract professor for the L2 / LS Italian Teaching Master's course at the University of Macerata and currently does research in the fields of phonetics, conversational analysis, kinesics and proxemics.
